Personal information

Iris Hendriks works as a junior researcher at the VU University Medical Center in the department of Psychiatry. At EMGO+, she does research in the Mental Health research programme.

Iris obtained her law degree at the Radboud University in Nijmegen. She also took several courses at the Luiss University in Rome and the University of Amsterdam. During her studies, she worked at the Amsterdam Centre on Aging where she and her colleagues organized a congress on dementia which took place in April 2013. After graduating and travelling through Southeast-Asia in 2013, she started working as a junior researcher in February 2014. She is involved in the researchprojects MEETINGDEM and 'the National implementation of the Alzheimer program in Dutch musea'.
