Personal information

Sonia Difrancesco graduated from the master in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Pavia in 2016. Her interest in research increased during her master's internship at the University of Manchester where she studied the feasibility of using GPS data collected by smartphone to real-time monitor schizophrenic patients. 

Currently, she is a PhD candidate at the Department of Psychiatry of the VU University Medical Center. She is involved in the NESDA study and RADAR-CNS study which explore the use of wearable sensor data in mental health research.
